What I'm Seeing in Argentina #1 🇦🇷
A Tasmanian boots-on-the-ground reporting from Buenos Aires.
The first newsletter in what will be a regular update on news and events in Argentina from a boots-on-the-ground Australian’s perspective.
I’ll cover the following topics on Argentina in one compiled newsletter:
Market news - mining and exploration sectors.
Javier Milei's progress, VLLC! But an unbiased perspective.
Cost of living update, from a Buenos Aires barrio.
An Argentina recommendation: bar, Airbnb, restaurant, parrilla, tour, meet up, holiday, geoarbitrage - something useful or valuable.
I enjoy keeping a pretty close eye on things in the news and I am starting to build a decent network, so I thought this information could be useful to you.
I decided to make this a regular segment because of how fast things change here and the amount of news being reported. I’ve also got a stack of restaurants, bars, and general recommendations I want to share with you and figured this is the best way.
Before I became a geologist, I spent about 5 years working in restaurants, bars, and nightclubs in Australia and Europe, so I believe I have a pretty good eye for recommendations. I also have a borderline Malbec wine problem, but I think you guys will only benefit from that.
Let’s kick it off where I’ve got my mouth… and money.
Market News - Mining and Exploration.

What is the RIGI, and why is it important?
