Is It Too Late to Invest in Nam Cheong? 🇲🇾🇸🇬
Nam Cheong has gained +100% in two months, even in a tough market. I know many of you jumped in. But is it too late now? Here’s a rundown from the experts who got me into the trade initially.
One of my most popular articles was “My Most Bullish Stock” which I wrote about 6 weeks ago.
During that time, and with some luck, my position in Nam Cheong Limited, an offshore O&G services stock listed in Singapore, has gained +135% in my portfolio while everything else has been brutally beaten down.
How did a washed-up ex-geologist living in Argentina come across such an opportunity?
My network.
It’s a hated-relisted then creditor-dumped play that my mentor Trader Ferg hunts, along with
and Vianney.Like I’ve said many times before, being early to these hated plays is how I’ve made most of my money in the market - not by investing in junior mineral explorers.
Going hard on these opportunities early, once they’re identified, is a key process I’ve learned over the years
But is it’s too late to invest in Nam Cheong, am I taking some off the table, or even adding more? Basically, I’m just listening to who I think are the real experts in the space.
What gets me even more excited after seeing this is wondering what else is out there with a setup similar to Nam Cheong.
I’ve also filled another offshore Singapore-listed position with an irresponsibly large 9% cash allocation. While it’s not exactly like Nam Cheong, I believe it’s a great opportunity.
This position changes my entire portfolio setup - something I’ll go through in detail soon but I have included a screenshot of my current portfolio.
But first, I’ll start with the latest Nam Cheong commentary from Vianney and
, who were kind enough to help me out with this article. After a +100% move, is it still dirt cheap? One of these guys has likely already made seven figures out of this trade.
