Mendoza, Argentina. The stars aligned for a few Tasmanians. 🇦🇷
An unfiltered trip to Mendoza, with a couple of mates from Tassie who travelled all the way to the land of steak, wine and mountains.
About a month ago, a mate called me up. He said, “Should I come to Argentina, I’ve got six weeks of annual leave and I don’t feel like the usual trip to Bali?”.
What do you think my answer was? This bloody country is so inaccessible to Australians and with the current geoarbitrage opportunity, plus a mate (myself) living here, it’s a no-brainer for an adventure in my view. So, over he came and plus another one of his mates joined the party for the last two weeks.
I’ve wanted to go to Mendoza for so long. I have covered some serious territory during my time in Argentina, but I have yet to tick off the city of mountains, malbec, and high-quality steaks.
We planned to go over a weekend and ended up booking 4 days total, staying in Mendoza.
We are three wild lads, who love a hectic adventure, and the stars aligned unbelievably for this trip in the following ways.
The Airbnb. (including the link)
The incredible restaurants.
The car we hired.
The party we found. (the power of dating apps is incredible these days).
The trip to Valley de Uco (Argentina’s famous wine region).
The mountain we hiked (Chile-Argentina border, Aconcagua park).
Whether you’re a pack of lads on holiday, or you just want to go with the Mrs, this is exactly how we did Mendoza and what we paid for all of it.
I consider this a high-end holiday, the prices are going to blow your mind.
