Nightlife in Buenos Aires. 🇦🇷
After one year, I've had some great times in Buenos Aires. Here is my list of fun laidback picturesque bars, and where to party hard for 1/5 the price of cities in the developed western world.
When I first arrived in Buenos Aires, I was going to spend two weeks here before jumping on a flight somewhere else.
That was one year ago, and I’m still here.
The difference between eating, drinking, and partying in Buenos Aires compared to other cities is, of course, the low prices for foreigners under hyperinflation.
You can sit in some of the most beautiful venues and pay 1/5 of what you would pay in the developed western world.
As I’ve documented in previous posts, when I arrived here I was incredibly lucky to meet some seasoned veterans of the Buenos Aires party scene.
This eliminated my need to carry out due diligence on bars and clubs as these guys took me under their wing and introduced me to the best venues and parties.
I worked in a nightclub and many different bars around the world before I was a Geologist, so I think I’m a decent judge in this area.
I’m in my early 30s and still love the occasional large night where I completely send it. However, these days I like to go to bars for a few drinks instead of clubs. These recommendations suit my profile and certainly not an 18-year-old backpacker.
I fucking hate overwhelming recommendations like you get from a soy boy travel blogger or some breathwork dude trying to find himself. So I’ll make it genuine and narrow it down as best as I can.
